From the start of the Covid-19 crisis, all of us at Book Passage have been overwhelmed by the kindness we have received. Now as 2020 comes to a close, we remain grateful that our doors are again open and that we’re again seeing old friends and meeting new ones – many of whom we’ve met for the first time as a result of our Conversations with Authors online event series.

We’ve heard from many that Conversations with Authors has become a regular part of their pandemic-relief efforts, and we’re pleased about that. For us, these sessions remain an important way to keep our wonderful community connected. We so appreciate everyone who joins us online, and who continues to order books and gift cards through our website at

Becoming a Book Passage supporter is another way to help keep us going and to stay connected. As we’ve done so far, we’ll use every dollar you contribute to support our Book Passage team as we continue to work toward the day when the pandemic – and all its challenges – are well behind us.

Contribute $25 or more and get these benefits

You can become a Supporter of Book Passage by making a contribution of any amount. Contribute $25 or more today, and we’ll do our best to thank you by extending supporters-only invitations to a fun extension to our Conversations with Authors series: Conversations with Book Passage. Learn about new and exciting titles from Book Passage staff, publishers’ representatives, and other industry experts. We’ll welcome you to similar in-store gatherings just as soon as we can, as well as to in-store and online sales offered exclusively for Book Passage Supporters.

Contribute $200 or more and add in your own in-person concierge session

If you contribute $200 or more, you’ll be invited to arrange an exclusive, in-person appointment with a knowledgeable bookseller who will talk with you about titles that may be of interest to you or to others on your gift list. These are personalized, intimate meetings, perhaps over an appropriately distanced glass of wine or a cup of coffee. If you live outside the area, we can schedule one of these “concierge” sessions online or over the telephone.

Contribute $350 or more and schedule a book talk

If you contribute $350 or more, we will also make our senior staff available for a scheduled book talk with larger gatherings of your friends or business associates. These festive and informative talks are a Book Passage specialty. In addition, we’ll reserve two seats for you at future Book Passage events just as soon as conditions permit.

And best of all: We’ll reserve two tickets and two glasses of celebratory champagne for you at a Book Passage Thank You Celebration, just as soon as we can safely gather to do so.
